In most cases, your initial appointment will be an Initial Psychiatric Intake. This consists of taking a comprehensive medical and psychiatric history in order to provide my initial recommendations. This also includes reviewing any prior chart documentation that is available. Your subsequent appointments will be follow ups visits with me, as described below, and depend on our treatment plan.

90 minutes face-to-face + 30-60 min MD chart review, documentation & coordination
In some situations, you may have a primary doctor or specialist who is seeking expert consultation with a psychiatrist, or you may be seeking a second opinion regarding medical decisions made by another doctor. It may also be more convenient for you to follow up with your primary doctor once a plan has been established, if your primary doctor is agreeable.
In these situations, our visits would consist of one Expert Psychiatric Consultation. Our visit includes a comprehensive medical and psychiatric history, review of any prior chart documentation that is available, and communication of my recommendations to your primary doctor.
Depending on complexity and need for monitoring, we may agree on having a few follow up visits or check-ins with me, following your initial consultation. Once a plan has been established and our goals have been met, your follow ups will be with your primary doctor or specialist.
